Unsurprisingly, AP Italian students performed slightly better on reading-based questions than listening-based ones.

Japanese Lang. AP Latin multiple-choice: students performed best on the syllabus reading from Caesar, and least well on the Caesar sight reading. Students did extremely well on multiple-choice, esp on economic growth; most challenging were the financial sector questions. Students did quite well across multiple-choice questions; the most challenging were on firm behavior and market structure.

Music Theory. Multiple-choice: students generally scored better on questions without aural stimulus than those with aural stimulus. Physics 1 - Algebra Based. While the exam was challenging for many, AP Physics 1 scores improved over last year: an increase of 2. No student had yet done so. Physics 2 - Algebra Based. Physics C Mech. Spanish Language. Sharpe, The value of this work and others that followed served to encourage me to prepare the following resource guide for teachers who are not merely new to the field, but who may in addition be tasked at the end of the school year to begin teaching an Advanced Placement course in World History the following fall. The following has been prepared to assist those who, for perhaps more than merely time constraints, are unable to attend these workshops and have limited access to published guides and other literature. An instructor who has not mastered the Acorn book is depriving their students of much of their chance of passing the examination. His website points to textbooks, readers, other teachers' sites; in short, most everything you need to get started. Each issue includes articles by experienced AP teachers whose topical essays range from classroom strategies to visual literacy. The course advances this understanding through a combination of selective factual knowledge and appropriate analytical skills.
