While it was helpful to review information, it did not really follow the College Board's course outline, nor did it focus on big ideas that are the core of the course.
Also, this year most of the book was kind of irrelevant because all the multiple choice practice tests and study tipps are not even going to be on the AP test. However, it was announced in July that the test would be changed to an AP World History: Modern exam that only contains content since AD, starting in the school year, with plans for a new course with the time before that called AP World History: Ancient. This is a high school course designed specifically for sophomores in high school and gives college credit. The first section of the AP World History exam consists of 55 multiple choice questions with a minute time limit. The questions are not divided up evenly between the 9 units.
