Please help me out!!!!!! Thank You. Yes the vocab book that your school provides is definitely good. I really liked the Barron's one because it's typically more difficult than the actual test. If you really want a feel of what the test is like use Collegeboard's blue book.

Also, out of my research I found that the Barron's books are pretty good as well as Powerscore and Boot Camp for you Brain is pretty good. I came here to find an alternative to the blue book but most of them suggest to use it so I am still skeptical on what to do. I am planning to give the sat next year. I just wanted to know if the websters international dictionary is alright for that! I don't feel comfortable posting other info I only have the blue book but online I have found a few resources.

My favorite part of this book is that it teaches students how to study. Although studying is such a big part of higher education, most students are never taught how to study. Your teacher stands at the front of the room and unexpectedly proclaims: Today class, we are going to have an impromptu in-class essay! Suddenly, your stomach hurts, heart races, and mood shifts to a feeling of unease. When your teacher hands out the essay booklet, you realize that you have never seen the longwinded two-paragraph topic before. The instructions say that you only have 25 minutes to complete the essay. And to make matters worse, the booklet contains two blank pages. How on earth does your teacher expect you to write more than a page when it took you five minutes just to read the topic!? You hastily begin to write down a few thoughts, but midway through the third sentence you get writers block. You begin to rely on some personal experiences that barely relate to the topic. You notice there are two minutes left on the clock, so you stick a vague one-sentence conclusion after the one body paragraph you completed. Finally, you turn in an unorganized,! Well be prepared, because this is what happens to most students on every administration of the SAT. When I was in high school, there is nothing that I feared more than an in-class essay.
