3 goals in life essay
After about two weeks of living in a halfway house, I ended up relapsing. I was on the streets and in and out of crack houses for about a month. This was one of the roughest times of my life. When I finally had had enough, I got on a plane and came back home to Arlington, Texas. Getting my life on track had to be my first priority. I had to change the people I hung out with, the places I went to, and the things I do today.

Throughout our lives, we set goals or standards in what we do. Goal setting gives you a long-term vision and short-term motivation. It also gives you the confidence you need to achieve higher and more difficult goals.
By setting goals and constantly reminding yourself of them you are more apt to work harder to achieve these goals. I believe that setting goals is an important aspect of succeeding in life. Throughout my own lifetime I have set many goals for myself, today I will share three of these goals with you. Education is an important aspect to succeeding in life. Without some kind of education, you cannot achieve the skills needed in the real world. This brings me to my first goal which is to graduate college.
I hope college will present me with a number of challenges in which I can gain experience from. I plan to do the best I can in all the classes that are difficult for me, and excel in the class that I find easy.
With a diploma in my hand and a smile in on my face, I believe that I can face any challenges the real world will provide me. From the first time I set my eyes on the silver screen, I dreamed of someday being involved in the making of films, which is why my second goal is to become successful in film.
As a child, I was fascinated by the picturesque Disney movies that colored my imagination. As I got older, my interest in film greatly increased so much to the point that I began working at a movie theater. Recently I began working on a screenplay, and plan to further reach my goal by majoring in film during college. Film has always been an important part of my life, and it will always be.
