I have tried many of the examples mentioned in those posts. But I still have a problem and can not for the life of me figure out what it is. I thought this was related to a Heat Problem with my computer, but not for sure about that. I then thought it would be related to a Disk Controller problem, but have not seen any responses to that theory.

I have thrown away a perfectly good Hard Drive, thinking it was bad, only to find out the same thing happens with a new Hard Drive. Luckily none of the settings in my BIOS have changed or been lost. To give you a little background, I had this error message come up on normal boot up of my computer. So luckily I had a spare Hard Drive and installed it into the machine. Did great for about 2 weeks and had no problems. I never turn off the computer and was working on some items and the computer seemed sluggish and was getting slow Disk access as indicated on the flashing HDD Light.

Thought I would reboot and see if I could clear the problem. Tried everything again and no luck at all getting the computer to boot up.

After a few days of just setting, I tried turning on the computer again. Booted up and worked flawlessly for more that a month. And just to be on the safe side, I would turn off the computer after a few hours of working on it. I have a Laptop that I use also, and that is what I am using now.

Yesterday, I installed Windows 10 preview and the computer was up for about 6 to 8 hours. I have disconnected that and get the same results. Do not know where to go from here.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. This thread is locked. You can follow the question or vote as helpful, but you cannot reply to this thread. Thank you for posting your question in the Microsoft Community Forums.
